I can't believe that this is really happening so quickly, but here is proof of how far this will go. It doesn't seem right to force someone to use their profession to do something that is agianst their personal beliefs. Again, I just think it is worth being informed about this stuff so that's why I want to put it here. In church they even suggested to bloggers to get the word out, so I am taking that on.
Advocates of Same-Sex Marriage Continue to Force Compliance Against the Will of Californians
Court Decision Forces Doctors to Perform Procedures Against Their Religious Beliefs
August 20, 2008
Sacramento, CA --- ProtectMarriage.com and Proposition 8 reacted strongly today to the California Supreme Court’s ruling that California doctors who have religious objections to artificially inseminating same-sex couples can no longer refuse to treat them. The Court’s decision overturns a previous state Appeals Court decision which ruled in favor of the doctors in 2005.
“This latest ruling proves that advocates of same-sex marriage are not simply seeking tolerance, but rather are pushing for compliance in every corner of California society,” said Ron Prentice, proponent of Proposition 8. “They will stop at nothing to chip away at the free speech rights and the rights of conscience of Californians everywhere, forcing individuals to accept their lifestyle even against a person’s personal or religious beliefs. It is a slippery slope against the individual rights of Californians.”
The Supreme Court rejected a San Diego County fertility clinic’s right to refuse performing a procedure. North Coast Women’s Care in Vista declined to perform an intrauterine insemination for an individual, and referred the individual to another facility.
The ruling is the first of its kind in the nation.

Ah crap. It makes me sick to think about the world MY kids are growing up in. I wish the second coming would just get here already!!!
it seems like it is really heading downhill fast. i remember when i was a teenager and it was taboo to have same sex anything publicized...now it is glamorized and even given preferencial treatment in some cases.
um... so i read your blog yesterday, and last night had a dream, people were trying to make me marry another girl.... Let's just say i was not nice. mrrr...
