Tanner: (not satisfied at all) No, do you like me the best?
Me: You are the BEST 4 year old.
Tanner: (touching my face and wide eyed) But, but you didn't say it.
Me: I like you the best!

Tanner: Mom, can we buy that Sunday?
Me: No, we don't spend money on Sunday.
Tanner: But I want to buy it Sunday.
Me: No, we are supposed to keep the Sabbath day holy so we don't shop on Sunday.
Tanner: Mom, you said we could buy it Sunday!
Me: (sudden realization)  Oh, you mean SOME DAY.  Yes Tanner, we can buy it some day.
